This limited run Taylor has a torrefied Spruce top and Tigerwood back and sides and there are only handful of these available world-wide. Tigerwood is a uniquely cool tonewood, sounding like rosewood with a touch of koa. Comes with Taylor Hardshell Case.

"It’s also known as Goncalo Alves.  Tigerwood is easier to say.  The color tends to run from a darker and stripey version of koa to a lighter shade of rosewood.  The tigerwood name comes from characteristic stripes of color.  It tends to be harder and heavier than Koa or Mahogany, nearly like east Indian rosewood, but with a different grain structure.  On a spectrum of sounds, it’ll lean more toward a rosewood like tone due to its density, but with less mid scooping-it’ll be a little more balanced in the midrange like koa due to the grain structure."
